    • Eskimos sign LB Lloyd to extension


      Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - The Edmonton Eskimos signed linebacker Maurice Lloyd to a contract extension through the 2010 season on Friday.

      Lloyd, who signed as a free agent this past February, had 55 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble this past season.

      Over his four seasons in the CFL, he has totaled 217 tackles, 12 sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble.
