Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Tennessee State University announced the resignation of football coach James Webster Jr. on Thursday.
Webster coached the Tigers to a 21-10 win over Eastern Illinois Thursday night in his final game at the school.
Webster, who was hired in January 2005, ended his tenure as head coach of the Tiger football program with a five-year record of 25-31.
